On the afternoon of September 29, 2022, GDUFS International School invited Ms. Huang Minyi, an expert in child counseling who graduated from Harvard University with a master’s degree in child psychology, to give an academic lecture to GIS teachers and students.

Featured Science Curriculum of GIS

Recently, the G7 students of GIS explored the ecological environment of the school in the campus garden. Inquiries about “Species in the Surrounding Environment” and “Structure and Function of Plant Stems” were made, through which the students developed a deeper understanding of the diversity of life and gained a clearer perception of the relationship between human beings and nature.

Inquiry Activities of GIS

To improve students' understanding of earthquake science and increase their awareness of earthquake preparedness, GIS recently held a series of inquiry activities called “How Much do you Know About Earthquake Science?”

Cross-disciplinary Teaching Week in GIS

In order to promote specialized education, optimize students' learning methods, strengthen their intrinsic motivation, and help students gain a holistic understanding and comprehension of the world, GIS recently held a cross-disciplinary teaching week on the theme of "Sharing the Planet.” Teachers from different subjects interpreted the topic from diverse aspects and conducted various teaching activities.
